The Big Day
What to expect from the exam itself

One of the most difficult things about the DICM is that relatively few people have sat it, and therefore there are few people around to prime you for the big day. Bear in mind that the exam is still fairly new and fairly small, and things may change from year to year. But for what it's worth, here's what happened to me in 2002; here's what another candidate found in 2004; here are two experiences from 2005; and 2006 saw a new component to the exam. For 2007 we have no reports from any candidates - only from the Chairman of Examiners!
